What Is the Christmas Angel Tree Fundraiser you ask?
Well let me fill you in!
I am so glad to see you here, taking the time to visit my blog and find out what my biggest passion is, and to find out more about The Angel Tree Fundraiser and to partner with me to rescue these precious children from the Mental Institutions of Eastern Europe.
The photos you see are two of the thousands of orphans with Down syndrome that will be placed in the institution if not adopted by their 4th birthday.
The survival rate in these places is 10%.
In some countries it is called 'The Crying Room' because they are left to die.
Reece's Rainbow is dedicated to making sure this will not happen by raising funds for willing families to rescue them from neglect, darkness, and death. By contributing any amount to my Angel Tree fund, 100% of your tax deductible donation will go into a grant for Christian and Val.
This will help the adoptive families with the costs of bringing them home. There is not a shortage of families willing to adopt and rescue these children with Down Syndrome, just a shortage of funds.
These families are taking a huge leap of faith to bring a child into their home and just want to ask you to step out in faith to help them do this by giving money, praying fervently if thats what you do, or even helping by passing my blog along to others.( please post anywhere you can, facebook, twitter, myspace, tell your friends face to face, print out posters and put up at your work, you know, get the word out to as many people as possible!)
I have seen MIRACLES happen for these families when people step out in faith to help these beautiful children!! It convinces me that the LORD loves these children and truly wants them in families.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for taking the time to read my pages here and allow me to fulfill what I know is part of God's big plan for me. I have so much love for these children, I just cannot stand the thought of them dying because we can't give up one morning cup of coffee or our mani/pedi's for the month.
YEP, really that is all it would take!Iif all my friends and 5 of there friends and so on would donate just $5 to each one of these children, they would have the TOTAL costs of their adoptions funded, and they could quickly get out of the institutions and into loving family homes, to blossom and become all that they can be, just give up 2 cups of Joe, or that fancy knick knack you have been wanting, etc etc

I am not alone in this quest to save the orphans and have found my fellow warriors at Reece's Rainbow who work tirelessly and sacrificially for the 'least of these'. I feel privileged to work along side them and to do God's will of "rescuing the widows and orphans in their distress" (James 1:27).
